Nonprofit WORK
Telling Stories that strengthen our community.
From fundraising films to mission-driven campaigns, we craft bespoke video content that helps nonprofits inspire action, raise support, and uplift the voices that matter most.
We live here too—and we want our neighbors to thrive.
EDDIE VEDDER & EBRP
For years, Coho Films has been honored to partner with Eddie and Jill Vedder and the Epidermolysis Bullosa Research Partnership (EBRP) to produce emotionally powerful fundraising videos. EBRP, founded in 2010, is the world’s leading nonprofit focused on finding a cure for Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) — a genetic “butterfly skin” disorder causing extreme fragility, painful blisters, and lifelong wounds
Through our collaboration, we’ve captured heartfelt patient stories, heartfelt updates and highlights from star‑studded events, and produced a feature‑length documentary that premiered at Tribeca in 2025. We’ve had the privilege of working closely with the Vedders and the EBRP team to showcase how every donation goes directly into groundbreaking research. Since its founding, EBRP has raised over $60 million+, funded 140+ global research projects, accelerated clinical trials twenty‑fold, and supported two FDA‑approved EB therapies.
Our films shine a light on real families and scientists battling EB. They amplify Eddie’s messages, Jill’s advocacy, and the collective progress toward a cure — inspiring audiences to join the movement. From emotional video testimonials to concert‑driven campaign content, our storytelling elevates EBRP’s mission and drives critical support.
One Roof Foundation
Our ongoing partnership with One Roof Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Seattle Kraken, has allowed us to tell powerful stories centered on real people, real change, and real issues facing our communities. At Coho Films, we’ve collaborated with One Roof on a variety of video campaigns and mini-documentaries designed to spotlight their work around Access to Play, Youth Homelessness, and Environmental Justice.
From highlighting the transformation of spaces like Skyway Park to exploring innovative solutions to climate and housing challenges, we’ve worked closely with the One Roof team to craft emotionally resonant stories that move viewers—and drive action.
One of our proudest collaborations is Heroes of the Deep, a recurring arena spotlight celebrating community heroes doing extraordinary work. Shown during Seattle Kraken home games, this series honors individuals with a $35,000 donation to the nonprofit of their choice. Coho Films helped develop the creative visual treatment and produced the full series of individual awardee videos during the Kraken's inaugural season.
Our work with One Roof Foundation continues to be driven by a shared belief: that stories, when told well, have the power to shift perspectives and inspire lasting change.
Ryther
For several years, Coho Films has been proud to partner with Ryther, a leading provider of behavioral health services for children, teens, and young adults.
From emotive fundraising videos shown at annual galas to locally targeted marketing spots and commercials, we’ve worked closely with their team to craft thoughtful, high-impact video content.
Our collaboration goes beyond production—we help ideate, script, shoot, and market each piece, ensuring that Ryther’s message reaches the right audiences with authenticity and clarity. If you're looking for a creative partner who understands sensitive storytelling and mission-driven work, we’d love to help bring your vision to life.
KIDSQUEST CHILDREN’S MUSEUM
Coho Films is proud to have supported KidsQuest Children's Museum in Bellevue—a nonprofit STEAM-focused learning hub serving children ages 0–10 and their families since 2005
As their creative partner, we helped bring their seasonal and annual fundraising events to life through original video concepts and storytelling.
From spotlighting new exhibit launches and celebrating why play is critical for development, to showcasing KidsQuest's mobile outreach programs reaching kids beyond museum walls, we’ve developed engaging scripts, captured immersive b-roll, and produced multi-platform videos ideal for digital, social, and event use.
By blending heartfelt narrative and playful visuals, we help KidsQuest amplify their mission, raise support, and connect more families with the power of learning through exploration.
NEIGHBORCARE HEALTH
Coho Films has partnered with Neighborcare Health, Seattle’s largest provider of primary medical, dental, and behavioral health care to underserved communities, to create videos that build awareness and trust.
From staff recruitment films to patient-centered stories, our videos have helped highlight the compassionate, culturally responsive care Neighborcare provides every day.
Our work together focuses on human-first storytelling—elevating real voices and real experiences to reflect the depth of impact that Neighborcare has across the region.
If you’re a mission-driven healthcare organization looking to engage your community through powerful visual storytelling, we’d love to help.
LYDIA PLACE
Coho Films has proudly partnered with Lydia Place, a Bellingham-based nonprofit on a mission to disrupt the cycle of homelessness for current and future generations. Over the years, we’ve worked closely with their team to develop a wide range of emotionally driven video content—each one crafted to reflect Lydia Place’s core values of community, equity, upstream impact, and wellness.
Our collaborations have included fundraising gala videos, anniversary celebration films, and deeply personal case studies that highlight the strength and resilience of former clients. From scripting to post-production, we handle each project with care and intentionality—always centering the humanity of those whose stories are being told.
These films do more than raise dollars—they create deeper understanding, spark conversations, and build lasting support for Lydia Place’s essential programs. If you're looking for a video partner that can translate complex social issues into compelling, hopeful stories, we’d love to work with you.
St. Anne Foundation
Coho Films partnered with St. Anne Foundation—the fundraising arm of St. Anne Hospital in Burien, Washington—to create powerful, heartfelt videos that bring their mission to life.
Through a series of fundraising films, donor spotlights, and patient stories, we’ve helped the Foundation connect more deeply with its community and drive meaningful support for the hospital’s critical programs and services.
These videos are designed not just to inform, but to inspire generosity, showing the real-world impact of philanthropy on patient care, staff support, and community health initiatives.
From pre-production to post, we worked closely with the St. Anne team to ensure each piece reflected their values of compassion, equity, and excellence in care.
Whether featured at galas, donor luncheons, or digital campaigns, our work with St. Anne Foundation shows how thoughtful storytelling can elevate healthcare fundraising—and help build a healthier future for all.
Multicare Health
For MultiCare Health’s Rock the Foundation fundraising event, Coho Films created a powerful, emotionally grounded video that helped raise nearly $500,000 toward advancing cancer care technology.
Rather than telling the story through the eyes of a patient—as is often the case in healthcare fundraising—we chose to highlight the resilience and compassion of Dr. Blair Irwin, a dedicated MultiCare oncologist balancing her demanding work with her role as a mother.
We worked closely with the MultiCare team to shape a narrative that blended empathy with urgency, giving donors a deeper understanding of both the need for better tools—and the people behind the care.
The result was a deeply moving film that connected with donors on a human level and inspired meaningful action.
Alliance For Gun Responsibility
Coho Films partnered with the Alliance for Gun Responsibility to create a bold and emotionally gripping film for their annual fundraising event—an effort that helped raise over $2 million to support gun safety legislation in Washington State.
Centered around Initiative 1639, which raises the legal age to purchase semi-automatic rifles to 21, requires enhanced background checks, and enforces safe-storage laws, the film focused on amplifying the voices of those directly impacted by gun violence.
To match the seriousness of the issue, we chose a stark, minimalist aesthetic: each subject was filmed against an infinite-black backdrop, allowing their words and expressions to take center stage. There were no distractions—just raw, urgent storytelling designed to move viewers and demand attention.
This project was about more than visuals—it was about helping change laws and save lives. We’re proud to support the Alliance’s mission and to use film as a force for real policy impact.
